Guilty? OR Guilty!

Today the verdict in the former governor, Rod Blagojevich, corruption trial was read.  Jurors found Blagojevich guilty on 17 out of 20 counts of corruption against him, including all 11 counts for his attempted sale of a U.S. Senate seat and 3 counts of the shakedowns of Children's Memorial Hospital and a racetrack executive.
Blagojevich is the fourth Illinois governor to be convicted of crimes.  Many people believe Illinois has a long legacy of corruption under its belt.  How can this be stopped?  OR  Can this be stopped?

  1. I was so happy to see the newspaper this morning! It was interesting: there were comments from other politicians and the republicans had a lot more than the democrats to say about it. One D. said essentially that Blago's a product of the system. Well, sure, a little, but he's a big boy and can make his own stupid decisions. I'm just glad the jury finally came together and this will quit wasting out time and tax dollars.
