The Marilyn

Back in July, an enormous statue of Marilyn Monroe was unveiled on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.  It stands 26 feet tall, across the street from the Wrigley Building in the Pioneer Court.  It has drawn many critics but people still flock to it and can be seen taking pictures at all times of the day.  It has also become a popular wedding stop.  When we viewed it, there was a bride and groom getting professional photos taken underneath it.  It was created by 80 year old, sculptor Steward Johnson and will be in Chicago until Spring 2012.  What do you think of this giant tribute to Marilyn Monroe?
